PARTNERS
Laudato Si
Pope Francis has written a letter addressed to everyone on this planet asking us all to protect the Earth- our common home.
In the letter he says "the Earth is God's gift to us- it is full of beauty and wonder and it belongs to everyone."
Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life and a beautiful mother who opens her arms to embrace us. (LS-1) The urgent challenge to protect our common home includes a concern to bring the whole human family together to seek a sustainable and integral development. (LS-13)
CATHOLIC EDUCATION WEEK 2021
The theme for this year’s Catholic Education Week is “Nurturing Hope” building on last year’s theme “Igniting Hope”. Let us continue to nurture hope during this challenging year as we turn our hearts to God and find gratitude in our daily lives.
It is not happiness that makes us grateful; it’s gratefulness that makes us happy.
Brother David Steindl-Rast
